Here’s a first look at my stylized volcano rock! I made a small tool in Houdini to generate game-ready assets with procedurally created textures. Using TOPs nodes, I can randomly generate different versions of the rocks, each with its own unique textures. These will be used to create most of the cave environment in the game.
I’m really happy with how it turned out. The rocks have a great look, and the procedural approach makes the whole process super efficient. It’s exciting to see how well these assets will fit into the game and bring the cave setting to life.
