Russell can now perform vault and mantle movements. These additions allow Russell to climb over obstacles and navigate the environment more dynamically. Our first implementation focused on ensuring smooth and natural transitions, and the initial results are promising.

Upcoming Testing: Game Level Integration

To test these mechanics further, we plan to build a complete game level. This will help us understand how vaulting and mantling work in a fully scaled environment and under various gameplay conditions. This step is essential for fine-tuning difficulty and ensuring these mechanics contribute effectively to the overall gameplay experience.

Future Features: Double Jump with Hang and Mantle

Next, we aim to implement a double jump feature, including a hang and mantle ability. This will add more depth to Russell’s movement options and enhance navigation possibilities within the game.
